What memories/experiences have you had with MaXalami?
Due to our use in competitions and many training kilometres, we have been able to use the product variety of MaXalami positively for us several times. Especially in competition every second counts and easy handling. That's why we are completely enthusiastic about the Tubelesrepair Kits!
Have you already made experiences with the tyre inserts Pepi's Tire Noodle?
Some riders of the team use Pepi's Tire Noodle. The advantages are obvious. A low tyre pressure gives us better traction off-road and the Noodle effectively protects the tyre from punctures and especially our rims from damage. So we are happy to accept the slight extra weight.
How do you manage to balance your training with your job and family or friends?
The motto of the Stenger Bike Team is "From Local to the Worlds - between training, study and job on a par with the pros! Our goal is to offer the best between the respective worlds and that can only be done with support even beyond the junior classes.
How many hours a week do you work and how many do you train?
Depending on the disciplines, season and other factors, the riders' training times vary between 10h and 30h a week. This adds up to up to 20,000 kilometres per rider per year.
Do you adapt your diet to your sport and what do you pay attention to?
In order to be able to perform competitive sport at this level, a wide variety of areas have to be optimised so that you can be on a par with corresponding professional athletes. Here we are proud to be fully supported by iQ Athletik.
What does a typical day during the week look like for you?
Depending on the rider, it first consists of studying or the typical workday. Either before or after that, cycling, strength or running sessions are completed.
What are your goals for the 2021 season?
Due to the current Corona pandemic, it is first important for cycling to get back on its feet in good health.
The following positions are set as goals:
